Welcome to our website. At Chesterfield Care Group we have been source of friendship and company for the residents of Chesterfield for over four decades by providing adult social groups. Our aims are to reduce social isolation and support people to live well with dementia.

Here at Chesterfield Care Group we have qualified staff that provide a quality service in a friendly and stimulating environment.

We aim to meet the personal support needs of individual service users.

As a registered charity and a non-profit organisation we aim to keep costs to a minimum. Please contact us for further details.

 

Day Care Services

We currently run groups from Tontine Road in Chesterfield , Brimington, Inkersall and Dronfield. We also run Dementia Friendly Walking Groups as well as a group for carers.

A free taster day is available.

We provide person centered, age appropriate activities in a structured day, where our care staff support a variety of needs and abilities. We offer a 2 course, hot meal at lunchtime.

Our Groups are fully accessible. Our groups are Dementia friendly and our staff are fully Dementia trained and have a wealth of experience in working in Dementia care.

Our aim is to reduce social isolation, improve physical and mental wellbeing while keeping service users in their own homes for longer.

Our staffing team is qualified team to provide social and personal care needs.

Transport can be provided. DCC attendance funding is available in some cases. There is a charge for our service. The group runs from 9:30 to 2:30.

The activities range from chair based exercises, reminiscence activities, crafts, quizzes, music based sessions, anything we feel a service user would enjoy.

The services we offer include a variety of stimulating and age appropriate activities focused on the needs of the individual service users:

  • Reminiscence
  • A drop in service for carers needing care for 1-4 hours

A Bit About Us

We work with Derbyshire County Council, Community Transport and Park Care Meals Ltd.

Chesterfield Care Group has achieved the Bronze Derbyshire Dignity Campaign Award.

The Trustees perform regular visits to all the centres to ensure that the high quality of the service is maintained.

All staff are official Government DBS Verified
